Lightbulb Need side view of Jeep drawing

I swear I've seen this before but cannot find it, hoping someone out there can help me.

I plan on adding lights to my JK soon. Lights on the front bumper, windshield mounted lights, lights on a overhead light bar, and reverse lights on the rear bumper. I plan to have 4 switches for everything. I want to install these switches on the blank panel on the bottom of the center console. I could just install 4 switches in a row, but what switch will be what? (Sure, I would know what is what, but no one else would.) I could somehow label them but I thought of a neat idea. Since these are the only switches I plan on making/using, I thought of a great way to show what switch does what without any words, but by using a picture.

That blank panel would be big enough to do what I want to. What I would like to do is have a picture of the side of a Jeep on there with the switches for the lights next to the area they control. For example, on the front of the picture have a switch that controls the front bumper lights and on the rear of the picture have a switch that controls the back bumper lights, etc.

What I'm looking for is an official drawing by Jeep, the side view of a JK. It doesn't have to be detailed, just the outside lines would be fine. Here's a crude picture I put together to give you the idea of what I'm wanting to do...

If anyone has a nice drawing of the side of a Jeep, please let me know!

Hi! I'm sure Des Moine is a big enough city to have a couple of Graphic Arts companies in the phone book. They are pros at much more complex drawing than what you are requiring. I doubt that it would cost much to have them draw what you are looking for and even suggest an outfit that might silk-screen the design to your specs. It would look "factory built in" after it was done. Hope this gives you "food for thought"? Take care... Mike

Kewl idea. What I would do is just line up the switches on one side and put a small LED in the appropriate spot on your diagram for each light set.

I thought about doing something like that. Like putting small LEDs in the appropriate spots on the diagram and when you turn on, for example the windshield lights, a LED on the windshield spot on the diagram lights up too.

Then I got to thinking, how am I supposed to see this in the dark? I could rig something up so when the parking lights are on the outline of the Jeep is illuminated as well.

I have a bunch of cool ideas for this, but I'm looking for a simple graphic of the side view of a JK. I know Jeep/Chrysler/Mopar has got to have something like this I could use, I'm still trying to find one.

Thanks for posting that! That will help me out a lot. I now need to make that a 2-door JK with a soft-top. My stepdad is good at graphic arts, I could give this to him to work with.
