Default In need of some motivation

My wife has said I can get a JK. But this was almost 2 years ago. She said I could get it once I finish school (gonna be a cop). But even after maintaining a 90% in the class, I failed a total of 5 tests which is grounds for dismissal. What makes that worse is that it was 2 weeks before the semester was over. I'm stuck driving my wife's 94 Ford Focus with cheap faded (now pink) flames down the sides, with two giant dragon stickers on the hood she's had since she turned 16. I traded in my car about a year ago to get something with more room for the baby. So now I'm a stay at home dad waiting for the next semester to start so I can continue my journey to become a law enforcement officer. So I'm in need of some re-masculizing, re-energizing, and ego-boosting from some of my brethren. PLZHALP. Thanks.

Hang in there. Don't know how old you are, but things have a way of working out if you are patient.
Thanks for NOT posting a picture of the Ford.

Chin up buddy. Keep going after your dream job of being a police officer. Sometimes life has a funny way of giving us small detours.
Look at this as a chance to really bond with your child.

Default You're a DAD... can't get more manly then that!

There are lots of guys with cool cars and other expensive toys, but they suck at the "dad" thing. Being a great dad is the most masculine thing a man can do.

First, congrats on the baby. We're 1 trimester into our first one.

Second. Are they vinyl flames? If so, go peel them off now!

Third, don't sweat it. Give your budget a once-over and get a JK if it's within reason. Just stick to your budget.

Last, Keep studying.

OH, and if you ever pull me over, please let me go with a warning.

^ Wise man here. Also, don't give up on your law enforcement career, never sell yourself short.

Just keep your head up and think of all the positives you have in your life.
No matter how bad you think you have it there are others out there who have it way worse!
On the bright side at least your problem is a want and not a need like so many unfortunate people.
