Need a trailer... what's too small to tow safely?
I need a trailer to tow with my JK for hauling camping equipment. Something inexpensive and simple. I have found a 4x6 size (rated at 2000lbs) but with 12" wheels. I think it is just a lawn mower tilt type trailer. Is that too small to run down the highway at 70 mph all day headed out on a trip? Will those 12" wheeled tires hold up OK?

Not needing anything to really get off road, just to haul camp stuff. 2 door jeeps, even w/o the rear seat, just don't offer much room for equipment. I have used a cargo basket before and that is OK, but I'm looking for something a bit larger and easier to deal with.
I am hoping that a small trailer this size won't just bounce around haphazardly behind my JK at highway speeds leading to problems.
Opinions?
Thanks!

I use this one with 12" wheels to haul motorcycles all over the country. I would say the one you're looking at would be up to the task for camping equipment.

You should be fine with a single motorcycle. Last week my bearing on my 12" wheel exploded about 100 miles from home. To be fair,I do not know the condition of the bearing before the tow as I had never replaced it or serviced it. My 5X8 trailer was heavily loaded with my electraglide, a 250cc scooter, and some camping equipment. I replaced the bearings with new ones and continued on home the remaining 200 miles without an issue. A couple months ago I took the same trailer with only the Electra glide on about a 1000 mile round trip with no problem.
