Never again
Northeast Mississippi. In Fulton there is an ORV park called "Barnyard Mudboggers". They have a lot of trails that I go ride on a few times a year and a few mud pits (I avoid them).
Given a choice between rock krawlin' and muddin', I'd rather have the rocks. But when I see mud, I'm going through it. Just don't do it with a safari top..bad idea. Unless you want brown shorts!
yup i say that every time im worn out from spending several hours cleaning muck off my pride and joy , but he loves it sooo much and tells me so every time we get near the stuff . what can ya do ?
I avoid mud submersion in general, but here in the NW, muddy trails are unavoidable.
My pressure washer has been worth every penny in time savings alone. Takes everything off except dents and scrapes and can have the underside looking new in under an hour.

Funny as I rather go in the mud than rolling my daily driver over. I think 4 hours of my time isn't all that bad when it could cost 1 month of work to pay for repairs.
Plus the chicks love the mud and are terrified of climbing and rocks.

Found a new trail Saturday and just got around to pressure washing the mud off of mine today. It's inevitable when you're on the trail...but the hole I went through Saturday, I should have avoided...took me a while to get out of it. At least I did not have to winch it though.
Then you've never been to Moab. I just got back after a week of playing in the desert and creeks. I spent 4 hours on the outside and 4 hours on the inside. That Moab sand/dust is ultra fine and a real pain to clean up after.
Yea I stay out of the mud as much as possible, but learning from my past down south in Ms... Best way to clean the undercarraige is to us a sprinkler that rotates from right to left. Just put it under your front and let her go for a couple hours then in the rear, I usually go an hour in a half for each. It saves on time for cleaning, and the finish off with pressure washer to get the gunk out of your suspension and tight spots.
