Yes, It was to be a late summer release...should be fall at the latest. It will be a progressive spring lift w/ 2" front, probably 1.5" in rear - similar height as the spacer lift. Probably have shock brackets, sway bars, etc. Check the AEV site and boards. Should be a good kit.

They always take forever to get stuff out, and even longer to update their website. When they have a new product I usually see it on a retailers website long before its up on their own.

That being said I have yet to purchase any AEV product that I didn't feel was top notch. I love my 3.5 lift and the bumpers I have sitting in my garage waiting for a free weekend look great. I think all that time they take is actually spent working on the project, not just finding the cheapest place to build it.

Default aev lift update

ok so I just got confirmation that the lift will be a 2.5" lift. They wanted it to clear 35's!

This is the quote I got direct from AEV

Guys,

We won't post the specifics on the new 2.5" spring suspension until everything is ready. At the moment it looks like that will be sometime in Dec. What I can tell you is this lift was designed to be the absolute minimum amount of lift needed to fit 35" tires with very minimal sheet metal trimming.

It will include 4 new springs and shocks along with a few other bits and pieces.

As soon as the suspension is ready I'm sure we'll send out an email newsletter.

Thanks for the patience,
Dave

I don't get it. Why would any metal need to be trimmed to fit 35's with a 2.5" lift? I have not heard of any with a Teraflex 2.5" coil lift having to trim anything.
