Default New antenna

Just got my new 15" antenna from everybody's favorite auction website, and the damn thing doesn't even fit. Sure it comes with everything you need to install on the JK but it still didn't fit. I put a freakin little divet in my jeep trying to install it. And I was very careful! Piece of crap. Sorry just wanted to vent a little bit.

Sry man. Have heard of quite a few folks having fitment issues with some antennas. If you want one that definitely fits, do what I did and go with the 14" unit from shortyantennasource.com.

Default No need to buy antennas

Clamp upper half of antenna in a vise. Use pliers with radius to go around the antenna, but smaller than the ball.

Apply a dot of red loctite to make you feel better and provide some lubrication, rest ball on bench, tap lightly on base to press ball back on.
