I'm looking at getting a new bumper. Ive considered a bumper with a winch but dont feel the need for a winch yet. I would like to have a bruch guard attached but am concerned about a full wrap around causing major damage in a crash if that occurres. Ideas and thoughts? Also wondering on some cheap simple ideas for an alternative to a winch. Can you tell im new to this?

 

There aren't really any alternatives to a winch as far as function goes. I guess you could always bring a tow strap and a patient buddy along to the trails, but sometimes that isn't an option.

Now if you're just looking for something to fill in the gap where the winch would go on a winch bumper, there are plenty of options out there to consider.
