Thats the gladiator concept.
It was a preview of the JK's styling. They might even make it.

 

They should diffinitely make it. It's awesome.

 

I believe Jeep has stated that the Gladiator will never become a production vehicle.

I'll try to find the information and link it. It was quite a while ago.

yeah looks good wrangler front pick-up back what a concept! i like what they did with the front lights with the protective hoops. looks like there is a roller fairlead built in? that winch must be hidden, with no hook coming out.

 

It's unbelievable that Jeep decided not to produce the Gladiator but brought us the Compass, the answer to a question nobody asked. Ridenour said in that article, "We have the Dakota." That's the truck nobody wants.

The Gladiator would be a world-beater. Maybe Daimler Chrysler is worried they'd have another succesful vehicle that they can't fulfill orders for?

 

I wish they would add the front bumper as an option for the 07 wrangler. Its a lot better than the solid black IMO.

 

I bet it gets built in a couple years, when the JK sales slow.

 

All that says is that it wont be in production in the near future. It doesn't say they will never build it.

 

If they do build it, it will be mine!
