Bestop trektop NX leaking

Last summer I bought the trektop NX for my 2017 JKU. All was well for a couple months...towards the end of the summer it started leaking. ALOT.

I’ve read a lot of people saying theirs leaks from the door surrounds but I’m pretty sure that is not where mine is coming from

When it rains, droplets soak through at the seam right above the sound bar by the middle bow & in anything more than a drizzle...I might as well be standing outside with how much water comes through

contacted bestop and they haven’t gotten back to me with any help

Anyone have this same issue or know how I could possibly fix the problem?

 

That's surprising as Bestop's support has been great the few times I've had to use them. Have you called there, or contacted them by email?

 

keep us updated, the wife is looking to get one for her jeep soon. Did you install your top yourself or did you have someone else install it?

Hey! So I finally got through to bestop customer service.
They actually sent me a brand new top section of the soft top. I also found out that they actually don't make the trektop NX that I have anymore. they made an updated version apparently soon after I bought this one last year.
I installed the top last summer myself (with the help of a few friends). I followed the instructions that came from bestop as well as watching Havoc Offroads youtube video showing the install of the same top on a 2015 JKU.
the top is great, I love the sunrider option and how easy it is to zip off the windows for full open air ride. Just hoping this new top section doesn't leak!
