Default Newbie Model Question

Hey everyone ,

Im a newbie to the Wranglers , Ive previously owned a Jeep though but I want a Wrangler for offroad.

I was wondering what your thoughts are on if I should by a basic X JK with 4x4 6spd or bump up and buy a rubicon that comes with all the options.

Eventually I want to put bigger tires and rims and hopefully lift it but Im torn between buying a cheaper basic model or a decked out rubicon ?

Thnx

Happy Holidays

If you are going to get serious into wheeling then it really depends on how much you plan on doing. If it was me and I was going to go all out then I would buy an X and start buying the parts that I would want. A stock or near stock Rubicon is pretty amazing so if I didn't plan or want to dump thousands and thousands into a rig then I would buy a Rubicon. I guess that's one reason that I'm getting a Rubicon Unlimited. I've already spent thousands on my YJ for heavy rock crawling, the Rubi Unlimited will be for weekend fun with the family. Hope this helps.
