Good luck! I throw another vote out for white. We have a black vehicle as well. Looks great when cleaned and waxed, but the next day not so much.

I have black. I don't care if dirt is showing or not because it's a Jeep.

I look at scratches like military rank...the more stripes, the more rank

Black is the worst color to keep looking good and hide imperfections. You even have to be careful washing it to avoid swirl marks. It is a beautiful color if it is kept up but will definitely take some work. I would go silver or white for easy upkeep and hiding of blemishes

Is the back to black made for plastic or is it car wash?

I love my black JKU its the way to go. Don't worry about the scratches and just so you know silver shows the most scratches because its small metal flake for the base coat. For black just use a fine compound with a foam pad on a buffer. If its a deep scratch use 2500 grit sand paper and color sand it lightly then buff.

Black is a lot of work. Looks great! My first vehicle at 16 yrs.old was black have stayed away from dark colors ever since. The swirls marks in the sunlight just kill me, I feel that they show a lot easier with black. It gets extra hot in the summer also.
