Default Nitto trail grapplers

I saw these on the Nitto website and they seem to be the perfect comprimise to the AT/MT delema I ran into! They seem to look like the KM2's but they have siping which is a plus for anyone. My buddy had the Mud Grapplers and absolutly loved them and so did I but the wife wouldn't get past the bomber sound!! It says they are not due out until September but does anyone have any comments/opinions about these tires??

I like the AT/MT combination of the tire and will definitely be looking into them when my Terra Grapplers wear out. Hopefully they're not as expensive as the KM2's, otherwise I may have to find some cheap 16" wheels.

They look similar to the Toyo M/T. Which isn't suprising since they're made by the same company as Nitto, if I'm not mistaken.

I've really been wanting to purchase the "Gunner 5" wheels, only sold at discount tire, and get the Toyo M/T's, sold at Les Schwab, so this new Nitto Trail Grappler my secure my whole purchase at Discount Tire.

I wish they had pricing and more 16" wheel options, if I remember right I think Nitto only had 1 16" and it was a 33" roughly. I have heard nothing but good reviews about Nitto tires and they wear pretty good. Has anyone had bad experiences with any of their tires??

Are the Nittos made by Toyo? They do look really similar to the Toyo Open Country I have on my truck ( and I love them)

I just read an article today on them in 4wheel & off-road. They seem to have been impressed with them in sand and gravel and on climbs. They did not try them in the mud. They also commented that they aren't in the US for sale yet. It's the October 2009 issue if you want to look at it.

If the FJ had the same bolt pattern I'd highly consider the offer, but I need a 6/5.5. I appreciate the offer though.
