[QUOTE=ChasJK;1008456]JeepCachette, my youngest son just broke his collar bone last week. He was jumping his mountain bike... My oldest son told me that he was trying to jump a 35' gap and didn't clear the dirt landing ramp... When he showed up at the house he didn't even know were or what happened to him, since he also hit his head real hard. Lucky for him, my oldest son made him put on his helmet about 20 minutes earlier.... Kids.....
Good thing they wear helmets these days!
Hope your son is doing okay...mine is 15...and returned to school today....and is looking forward to telling all the girls what he did......

I'll try to make the story short...After (my younger son's) baseball practice, we went to leave the baseball field and our Expedition wouldn't start. Being in a separate car, I ran home and got the jumper cables.....still wouldn't start....so...we called AAA for a tow. While waiting for AAA my husband was playing catch with the boys...he started tossing them up in the air and making the boys run after them...long story short...Josh dove for the ball....missed ....landed full force on his shoulder.... Said later that he heard the "crack" when he broke it. Not Good! Doc says no offroading....

Man I'm sorry to hear that.
That looks painful from the xray.
Good luck.
