Question Now that the lift kit was installed...

Now that the lift kit was installed, do we supposed to report it to the insurance company?

Do you guys inform your insurance comapny about the mod (lift, aftermarket bumpers etc.)?

i just kept all my reciepts from the TJ. when i rolled her, i faxed them off to USAA for consideration during the appraisal. they said it was worth 10,500. it made a difference.

i added $10,000 in accessories to my insurance so if it was wrecked they would cover the mods. It was like $20 extra a year

^ I'll be doing the same... my wife looked into an "accessory" add-on to our coverage, and ditto: costs VERY little, and gives you huge peace of mind in case the unthinkable happens...
