I would think it's pretty easy to do from the tail light area. Remove the tail light by removing the two inner screws. Then you can access the back side of the fuel filler area without any problems.

Being a 1st time Jeep owner tnere is so much to learn, looking at the Ruby, I would have never thought of doing that, thanks jdrogers........one more for the books........

I don't even have my jeep yet, but find myself checking out and buying accessories almost weekly. The wait is really killing me....
