Really!! I am a US Marine so I am very well versed in loyalty. However the parts that you say are engineered from mopar and tested in my opinion are junk. Mopar builds the cheapest they can to make as much as can. I am sure their mods are better then their stock equipment. However they are still not near as strong as most of the aftermarket lifts. No matter what anyone has to say I am a loyal jeeper and will mod my Jeep so it is as durable as I can make it.
If in 30 years you sold your Jeep with original equipment parts (as described above) you would get more for it. This is all I'm trying to say here, Not that anyone is unloyal. I will change my Jeep. In fact if there was a metal part for all the plastic I would buy them.
Cheers
Certainly wasn't offended, I was just trying understand your definition of loyalty. It appears spending too much for accesories makes someone loyal. I bet they sell a loyalty sticker too.
I also highly doubt a jeep with "official" mopar parts will command a higher price.
Sometimes manufacturers do offer some cool parts though. I have a Yz250 and Yamaha offers some sweet GYTR factory parts, they cost more than the comparable aftermarket parts but they have the cool team logo on them. Usually they are made by one of the other aftermarket manufacturers. If my clutch basket says hinson, it is worth just as much as is my clutch basket is made by hinson but labeled GYTR when it comes to resale.
To each his own, jeeps are fun, wave when you see another jeep! That's a loyal jeeper, one who waves!

I hear what your saying. A heavily modified jeep acts and feels like a differnet vehicle. My stock rubicon goes everywhere I want to go. I find it fun to upstage my buddie's modified sport. He has put on a lot of parts to "look the part" - bumpers, 2.5 inch lift, 33's, but my stocker goes everywhere he does. It's hard to understand people who say they love something only to replace half of it with aftermarket stuff. Although silicon does look better than natural sometimes..... maybe I need to rethink this. Let's make these forums more positive - Jeeps are like B00Bs - stock or modified they're all pretty great!
You are correct, it is yours to do what you want. I have seen some nice Jeeps with aftermarket parts.
I wave at all jeeps except lowered ones. We all should wave, I fear it's getting lost.
I will always stop to help another Jeeper by the side of the road.

I think the intended question is "are there any Jeep purists left?" Which by no means implies there is a caste system involving who modifies their Jeep and where they may lie within that system depending on the aforementioned modifications. Lawyered.
