Off Road Evolution is ... simply awesome.
Hey everyone. Some of you might recall that I experienced a loud buzzing vibration/noise after Off Road Evo re-geared me to 5.13. After a couple rounds of troubleshooting, the Jeep sounds and feels great. To say that Off Road EVolution "fixed" the issue is a gross understatement. Mel & folks went nuts and looked at everything - gears, caster, driveshafts, etc., looking for the source of the vibrations and buzzing. In the end, I ended up with a new front driveshaft, a new rear driveshaft, 4 degrees of caster, and a vibration damper that attaches to the transmission (I guess this was standard on the early JKs and then Chrysler decided to no longer provide it as standard equipment) ... Mel luckily had one sitting in the warehouse).
When it was all said and done, I asked Mel what I owed him. His shop had easily invested 8 hours troubleshooting my Jeep over the last two days, and I felt it was only fair to compensate for it.Mel refused payment. He would not even let me pay for the diff fluid and axle housing sealant. I was quite humbled by all of this. Heck, I had only come in for a discounted rate on a re-gear in the first place, and he was even gracious enough to charge me a small fee to install the ARB lockers that I had purchased elsewhere (Northridge, of course).
Parts and labor are one thing; customer service is another. I was stunned when Mel offered to ride along on the freeway so he could hear and feel the vibrations to which I referred. What a class act.
Anyhow, I am grateful to Mel and his crew at Off Road Evolution for a magnificent job with the initial installation and the follow-up troubleshooting. They have definitely earned a customer for life, and I highly implore anyone else out there to put Off Road Evolution at the top of their list for their aftermarket needs.

Most people only share their complaints and forget to tell about the good things so thanks for sharing!
We are pretty fortunate to have Off Road Evolution close by, I drive 1hr to have them work on my JK, because anybody can sell you something at a good price but it's harder to find great people who are willing to go the extra mile and offer outstanding customer service in the midst of adversity!
Mel, Lisa and gang are those people!

I also had a small issue with the result of my regear but in the end ORE customer service is next to none. They don't even think twice about taking care of things, no matter how small or big they are.
Thanks ORE.
