Reading another thread, i realized that don't have much in my kit, that should be there. So,

What you got in your kit?
What do you consider "a must have"?
How many quarts of each necessary fluid should you have?
and so on...
If you have done search and not found what you are looking for. Then OK, come on chaps lets see if we can help this guy out.
Dude, what type of kit are you looking for? Is it 4x4 kit for weekend off-roading or is it big time expedition type kit that you need?
Give us more information on what you are looking for.
Willing to help if you have done your homework.

there is no "kit" that i know of with everything you need. tools. tire repair. air compressor. duct tape. all depends on what type of wheeling you do also.

I do agree with you montejeep01 a full "kit" list could go on forever, but if he could be more specific on what he needs it for. Maybe we could help him out.
Nice avatar by the way.

Sorry about not being specific, I figured there is an "ultimate" kit that everyone who goes off-roading must have. Well, in my case, i do a lot of mudding, hill climbing, and other fun stuff like that, the only thing i don't do is rock crawl. Hope this narrows it down a bit.

I took it as harsh and I'm just reading it ... the guy was just trying to get a feeling for what people are holding.. Geez, I hate it when people go off on the "search function". Give the guy a break.

This site had a good checklist to get some ideas.
http://www.offroaders.com/tech/Offro...list.htm#Basic

I always have a tow strap and med-kit in the jeep - no matter what. its cheap and easy to store.
If im going out off-roading, I carry -
HiLift Jack
Tow strap x2
Tree saver
Basic Tool Kit
Blanket
Medkit
flashlights
Shovel
Axe
CB
Maps
GPS

That normally covers the type of riding that I do.

All good.
Sometimes I can come off a bit sarcastic- but I wasn't in this instance- really.

I have never been on a forum until this one and I must admit it took a bit to get accustomed to all the different functions.

That said, I am more than happy to help out a newbie.
...and add a little smile in the mix too

Looks like there are a few of us that would like to help you. OK, so lets start off with what equipment you do have and take with you when you out 4x4ing?
