Default Off-roading buddies around SoCal!

I moved to SoCal about a year ago or so for school. I don’t really know that many people with Jeeps. The few people that I know with wranglers only go mall crawling (That the only crawling i do right now haha ). I’m looking for some people to go off-roading with. I don’t really like beating up my car (daily and only driver), so I don’t do crazy trails (black diamond trails).

The only trail that I been is Holy Jim Trail, Trabuco Canyon. If you guys know a off-roading “group” or know any cool places to go off-roading at, around SoCal, let me know!

Thanks,

Luis

This imho is the best book for off roading in Southern California:

Backcountry Adventures: Southern California: Peter Massey, Jeanne Wilson: 9781930193048: Amazon.com: Books

You might also watch the SoCal sub-forum on this site; lots of conversations there.

Make sure to check out the SoCal threads under the Water Cooler section. Folks are posting wheeling trips up all the time... pretty much every weekend. Welcome to SoCal!

I am fun of looking off-road trips but I haven't tried it personally. I was really amazed at those people who has nerve of doing some tricky trips.
