Default Oil consumption

I'm at a loss. I have 2007 JKU and have had it since Dec of last year. It uses oil like nothing I've ever had before. It don't smoke and I never see oil drips wherever I park. I checked the oil Sunday (3 days ago) and it was about half way between low and the bottom of dipstick. Today I stopped by the shop to have a lil added and they said "you have no oil at all showing on the stick". They showed it to me and sure enough- none. Here you can see them under my Jeep checking it out and cannot find a leak anywhere. I've heard some Wranglers use oil and it's somewhat of a phenomenon. Even the shop guys were stumped. What's a reason for this? Y'all out there know more than anybody else. FYI- IF there's a thread on this I didn't see it searching on my phone- i told them to go ahead and change the oil so I'm in the waiting room writing this.
Thanks in advance guys-

I have heard some people have this problem. What grade oil are you using? I have heard that switching from 5w20 to 5w30 has helped some people.

In addition to the comments above you can also look into replacing your PCV and others have added either an aftermarket or home made Catch Can....

You do not see smoke because the cats are eating the smoke I think.

At 62k miles, I would check/replace the PCV valve and run 10W-30 or even 15W-40 in it.

Like others have said it is a big problem but there seems to be no worries. I can't put my finger on the post right now, but do a search and it will come up. I replaced my pvc valve and it actually seems to be doing better. I have an '07 also and I was putting in over a quart between oil changes.
