Default Opinions

Have read numerous threads with various lifts etc but want a honest opinion on this setup. 2013 jK sport looking at the TF 2.5 inch lift, fox 2.0 shocks, Nitto Trail Grapplers 315/70x17 on pro comp 7069s. Before I fire on this I'd like honest opinions on success and failures of this setup. I will be doing the work myself. Thanks. Oh auto trans with 3.73 gears subject to change out gears later.

Do your research on TF lifts before you buy one, ask who still has theirs, how much sag they've got, and where they went afterwards.

I have not heard TOO much negative about teraflex goods. However, I have no experience with them. I'd strongly recommend a couple things though. Do gears soon if going to 35s (or 315). Even with the 3.6L you'll be very glad you did. I'd also suggest cutting fenders or getting flat aftermarket fenders if you plan on flexing it much on 35s.

Good luck with your decision. Doing the work is usually easier than the decision.

Drive flat areas now but gears are in the near future. I wanted to get the lift and tires on and look at the fenders before I either cut or do flats. Thanks for the responses.

The teraflex 2.5" coil lift does the job. I ran it for 2 years and it was decent but with the weight of a winch and stubby bumper it has really sagged and I'll be replacing it when it warms up a bit. A friend has the 3" lift and needed to run spacers do to sagging as well.

What size of spacer? I'm torn on doing this lift or maybe the RK 2.5 max flex. I will be adding a lot of weight on the vehicle, it's a build in progress.

I have the RK2.5 with the new triple rate coils front and rear with bumpers winch and full size spare and it seems to handle it all great. Stance is good and ride is good as well. No sagging atm but only had it on for a few weeks.

If you consider the RK then look at Synergy coils as well. Stay away from the super low priced kits, there is a reason they're super low priced.

I'm guessing if I add a .5 coil spacer while I do the TF 2.5 coil lift it would add a little extra and compensate for sliders, bumper, winch, etc? Would rather just do it all while doing the lift rather than later. Any opinions on this?

It's easier to do that when your installing the kit instead of later, nothing wrong with it.
