to order now or not?
You didn't really specify what you wanted to put down vs. what you currently have to put down. I'd say order know if you have anything to start with as long as the dealer doesn't want more than a small holding amount. Mine wanted $500.
I wouldn't put much stock in the liftetime powertrain warranty. I just don't have any faith that Chrysler is going to stand behind it. I suspect every reason will be wear and tear or caused by aftermarket modifications.
And keep in mind that if you wait until 4-6 months from now to order that you might not have a Jeep until sometime next year. It depends on how much you want it.

I went to the dearler over the week end to get a price and they had 2 rubs 4dr rube's on the lot (one all most the way I wanted it, but it was an auto). The guy sad it took 4 mouths for them to get the two. MSRP was 31,500 invoice was 29,500 he would sell it to me for 30,500 and out the door is 33,900 (tax ex.) the only thing he would not tell me was how much the B to B warranty would be. he sad that the warranty people would not talk to me if I did not buy the car yet.
. any way I am going to order 2/1/08. the longer it takes, the more money I will have to put down and the lower my payment will be, so the longer it takes the better off I am (if they still have the warranty when I get my jeep.)
