I just talked to the local dealer and was informed that the 4-door jeeps are selling faster than they are coming in. Even the 4x2's are selling within a few days.

So I thought, no big deal I will order one. I just want an x with the hard top and 4.10 gears. I was told it would probably be the middle to end of march! Is everyone waiting 4 months?

I guess I better get in there and get it ordered.

Hey Bryan, if you're just looking for a 4-Door X, you should do a search of the dealers in your neck of the woods. I know that Don-A-Vee here in SoCal has something like 9 in stock - 5 of which are 4WDs. I'm sure you can find something close to what you want if not completely what you want and you don't have to wait

 

None of the dealers in my area have any in stock, except the saharas. That is all they say they are getting. If they do have an X it has every upgrade available and costs as much as the sahara. Plus, part of the deal with the wife was I had to get the right color. Seems the light gray stone isn't on the list of ones coming in.

I guess I am going to have to wait or hope something will come up. They have a red one coming soon that is perfect except for the color. So, we will have to see what happens.

well if you order it just make sure you can get out of the deal if you find something else, then your kinda "coverd" both ways....but yea the wait for the order will give you some time to see alot of JK's on the lots.
