Yes the dealer can order. They told me October delivery. Yes the powertrain warranty is going from 5 year 100k to 5yr 60k I believe. Doesn't matter to me as I will hit the time limit long before I hit 60k.

 

I decided on a Sahara they had on the lot that had everything I wanted. Picking it up Saturday.

 

Powertrain is going to 5/60,000 confirmed.

I was ordering from dealer.

 

I am going to call my dealer and find out what's up with the ordering?
I was in my local dealer about 2 weeks ago and they said order bank was froze for new model year.
Maybe it's open now?

 

I tried to order a rubi about 3 days ago and dealer didnt yet have all of the complete options and pricing info for '16.. he couldnt place a 15 order and have ot bumped to 16 either... the 15 order system is frozen and 16 isnt online yet from what I can tell.. maybe your dealer is going to place a reservation for an Allocation? basically where htye put in certain requests for their monthly allocation for the first month 16's come in (october likely).. as opposed to a full custom order?

when I custom ordered i nthe past I found that the options on the build and price consumer site and what yopu could actually get are 2 different things... much more flexibility at the dealer as opposed to whats online..


I'd get exactly what you want.. tell the dealer to keep the sahara and wait a month or 2 and get exactly the JK you want...

You should try a different dealer. They can order a 16. It won't arrive until October though.

 

I have to see if I can order from a different dealer.. my 2013 is coming off a Lease so I might need to turn it in at the same dealer it came from on the trade rather than at another place? its my first Chrysler Lease.. with GM leases in the past they gave you much better deals if you turned it in and got another vehicle at the same dealer... the lease is actually through my credit union so maybe it doesnt matter...

I picked up my brand new Sahara today. It;s a 2015 that had all the options I wanted. I was looking at the Willys mainly because they all come with 3:73's. This Sahara had them and was ready to go so I jumped on it. The fact that the warranty is better on the 2015 vs the 2016' and the price increases made it clear.

Your lease may have value beyond what was predicted when it was initially leased. That is a bargaining chip if they really want to sell you a vehicle.
