Well it is on order.. we shall see... got the FPP deal 1% below invoice. Now the waiting begins

 

my regular 2Dr X took exactly 1 month from initial order to getting the call from the dealer that the vehicle is in.

 

right at 3 1/2 months to get it in!!!!1

 

Mine was supposed to be here the first week of February. I ordered it the last week in November. It's still not here. When it finally does show up I feel a great swell of pitty for the salesman because this is going to be the worst customer he's ever had to deal with.

It has made my pre shopping sooooo much easier.

 

I ordered mine on 1/17/08. The dealer placed their orders on 1/29/08. I was told that the factory shut down for about 1 week because one of the plastic vendors filed bankruptcy and it took the week to reach an agreement. On Thursday Jeep told me it was at D-1 status. The dealer told me it is due to be finished on 3/15/08, and it should take < 10 days in transit. Then I get it.....I hope....
