Guys I need some information. I am currently working with a group who's interest lies in providing a 2,000 acre ORV park within a major cities ETJ. We currently have preliminary approval from the Commissioners (on the bases that we keep their name on the DL until public support is there). We are scheduled to present the idea to the City and governing officials later this month. What I need is some advocacy groups names and contact information to help support the use of this land for offroading. I’m looking for environmentally friendly groups that have tried and true practices of supporting offroad trails but understand the negative effects offroading has on the direct environment (ie excessive siltation, promoting erosion, etc) and how the groups solve the adverse effects but still enjoy offroading. Any and all information is beneficial.
