Default PA inspection exemption

So my beautiful 2007 Sahara JK has been giving me the dreaded engine light. For the past few years there were some workarounds to pass inspection but this year it just refused to stay off even after
replacing with new Mopar parts. It must be some sort of electrical short somewhere. It did get rear ended by a bus in 2014, but thanks to my AEV steel bumpers, it survived and has been running great ever since.
Maybe the crash loosened something or has some electrical crinkles somewhere.
With only 71k miles so far, I was saddened to think that just because of an engine light, it won't pass inspection. Amazingly in Pennsylvania, there is a 5000 or less miles a year exemption, and since this is not a
daily driver and only gets around 3k miles a year, I am happy to say that I can keep the jeep rolling. Wasn't interested in a new JL until they switch to the inline 6 that should be coming. Hopefully she will be good for another
16 years.
