Default Padding

So I had my jk parked next to another jeep at work today, It got me wondering. Would any of you ever consider removing the padding on the roll bars?

I don't think I will remove it on the JK. All of the tubes aren't round and don't always "flow" together. The rear section isn't painted completely either. I do like the look of a good custom cage, but the JK just isn't like that.
