After almost a month and the service manager telling me to be careful when I unzip my rear window I have a Brand NEW ONE waiting for me at the dealership. To back up My rear window zipper was jumping off track. I took it up there and the service manager looked at it and compared it to a brand new one. After looking at it he said that I should just becareful when I zip the back window out. So then I get a call from the service department telling me that it was approved and the part should be here in a couple of days. Well of course they never called so I kept bugging them about it. Just got off the phone and they said IT IS HERE. So now I have to schedule an appointmen to get it put in along with them fixing my soft top strap that the riviets came out of Wish me luck

I never been able to take my tail gate window of ,,it seems impossible..

 

Occasionally on ours, the zipper ends do not align. If you look close the two metal ends fit into each other, I noticed if the zipper is off by just one tooth they will not align. If they dont, the two "zipper parts" will not slide over the ends to remove the window. When this happens, I have had apply some gentle love and persuasion to get the zipper ends over it. I basically zip it back up a few inches and just zip it down fast to force the POS over the ends

 

yeah, they seriously need larger ends on the rivets, as I have the same problem

 

well i would misaligin but also if you zipped the left zipper all the way sometimes it would come completely off. Both of the silver ends would be out in the open. The actual zipper thingy would be at the very bottom with the two ends dangling in the wind.
Yeah on the rivits. the sales manager said the same thing. so i think that is what they are going to do with the strap.
