I haven't had the top or doors on in a year. I get asked the same question by most passengers. As stated, just don't leave anything inside you're not willing to part with. I do have a waterproof duffel in the "trunk" that has a simple cable lock on it that I keep all the day-to-day stuff in (ponchos, tie-downs, jackets, etc.). Again, nothing I'm willing to part with. The lock is just to prevent the quick "grab n go" of the bag.

Rear duster cover makes me feel better to keep some things out of sight. Most non jeepers have no clue how it attaches and when you lock the doors, the t-gate locks too so there is no simple access to whatever is in the cargo area. As stated earlier, if they want in they can get in, top or no top.

Mobile Tool Chest

Height 23",584.2mm
Length 37",939.8mm
Width 23",584.2mm
6.7 cubic ft of area

Wide work surface on lid that includes two 2’’ X 4’’ saw grooves
Pull out steel handle with soft grip for easy maneuverability
Large, heavy duty nickel-plated metal latches
Lock & keys included
Wide, heavy duty rubber coated wheels
Deep tote tray within tool chest for storage
Rain proof

I bought this lockable roll along storage box for the rear of my MH and it works great in the 2 Dr JK.

When I have the rear seat flop up against the front seats, I use the rear seat latch pocket to cable lock the storage box to the floorboard, so it wont grow legs and walk off while I'm in a store.

I don't know much about the 4dr, but I imagine you could come off the rear seat frame to secure it.

I know the box is big enough to keep a 2Dr sun screen, tarp, in it along with camera, laptop and GPS and a few other high dollar items, like recovery gear.

I bought this lockable roll along storage box for 60.00 bucks, cheap security!

Conceal carry under the seat box and I built a cover for the trunk out of 3/4" plywood and carpet. Works great!

I don't have it on in this pic but there is also plywood behind the seats so you can't get in there even if you put the seats down.

I have a soft top and soft upper doors and I NEVER lock the doors. If the the doors are locked they will cut the windows. And that will cost me way more than anything they could take.
Don't leave anything in there that you care about.
In 2.5 years Iv'e had it its been broken into once. They opened the door and took five bucks from my glove box. I said sweet, at least they used the doors rather than cutting my windows.
It happed at work, in the city... where the trash lives...oops did I say that

Tuffy security deck for me too. I travel with a laptop a lot and toss it in the back when I need to. Nothing else worth stealing anywhere else in the Jeep.

I like the rolling toolbox. But, wanted something soft-sided to be able to move around and such depending on the load I put in the jeep.
