Default Plastic colors ?

are all the "plastic" peices black or on some colors are they gray ? I'm talking about the top (hard) fenders, bumpers, etc.

my dealer has a line on a red rock rubi but it's kinda hard to tell in the pics if the "plastics" are gray or black.

I'm going down to the dealership tomarrow afternoon to see a cherokee that is the red rock color so I can see if I like it, orignaly I was wanting a silver rubi but this red rock one will be here in about 3 weeks which is way better than December or early Jan. if I order the silver one, not to mention it's got everything except the nav system, block heater, and the dark tint windows, and first talk of $$ was $650 BELOW sticker....

Yeah, the first one I saw was Red Rock Unlimited X. The fenders etc are dark gray, perhaps supposed to be black, but they are not a deep black. The red rock is very dark reddish brown. The red rock was little dark for my taste, but it didn't stop me from ordering it initially. I had to change the color though, once I realized how many burgandy colors are on the road, and how much they all remind me of the Redskins. Can't have that. It is a pretty color though.

The plastics are all the same color, except the Saharas obviously, and the ocasional Khaki HardTop..

Hope this helps

hey thanks I did'nt think that they would make diff color plastics, I know they make the Khaki stuff but the pics on the web were just throwing me off a little....

as for the color I'll see it in a few hours when my daughter gets off school were going to the dealership to see a cherokee that is that color....and it's kinda funny that you say ther are alot of burgandy vehicles in your area in my area every thing is silver and that's what is pushing me away from silver...

Yeah, there's evem more Silver than Burgandy here. Silver, then White, then Black, then Grey, then Blue, then Burgandy, then Red, then Green. Very few yellow, or orange, or purple.

dhoffroad, here is a link that might help. http://www.manassaschrysler.com/Jeep/540077_1.html

Sometimes the plastic looks grey in some pictures. I also have seen the sahara with the kahki top. It kind of looked grey.

In a couple years they will be grey anyway and you'll have to get out the Krylon fussion spray paint.

Anyone have any hints on keeping the plastic new looking, Armorall, etc.?
