Default Please define Bump steer.

I have been suffering from a wobble in my steering wheel after I hit a manhole that lasts about 1-2 seconds. Today I was told that is bump steer.

Can someone please define bump steer.

Thanks!

Bump Steer is the term for the tendency of a wheel to steer as it moves upwards into jounce. It is typically measured in degrees per metre or degrees per foot.
