Okay guys - I have the add-a-trunk feature. Good security with the top down. Complete PITA to remove if I need to carry bigger items. There has got to be an easy way to make this a flip in / flip out option, something that I could do simply if I needed to push the add-a-truck out of the way at Home Depot or something rather than having to unbolt four bolts each time.

Here is the picture and installation instructions: http://www.mopar-accessories.com/en-US/82210312/partinfo.aspx?DivisionId=1&Year=2007&VehicleId=35& _Model=P&Series=P&CategoryId=1004&GroupId=2058&Sub GroupId=3224&pc=18372

Now come up with something please.

I have the same trunk for the 4dr....it's not really that big a deal for me to spin four knob bolts out and toss my trunk in the garage. I don't think I understand your problem? Does the 2dr trunk not have a flip up lid?

Yes, but I need it to remove entirely on the road - the screws take me forever to get out. I want to create something with a few snaps that would be much easier. Guess I'll have to be creative on my own.

I was thinking of getting the FlexaTruck rather than the InstaTrunk. I think the FlexaTrunk has 3 slide removable sections for the top kind of like what an Avalanche pickup has covering the box. The FlexaTrunk is a little more spendy but i think it will pay its self off with the convince it will provide.

Have you looked at http://nftc4x4.com/. They are working on a 2dr model and should hopefully be out soon.

Robar, that storage is very interesting. Aluminum is going to help with weight also, I like the concept but it appears that the stock storage can be used but there is a lid type that has to be raised and I am wondering what that would do to stoage space.. I have the site marked and I am really looking forward to the 2 door model.
Thanks for the info.

if anyone is interested, I just posted a brand new never installed Flexatrunk in the for sale area as well as a ton of other stuff off of my 2008, 4k miles JK that I just sold for a 43% loss (ouch!).
