Default Pricing: what can i hope to pay

alright guys, heres the deal: i'll be looking for a '09 jk here in the next 6 months or so (at the most). i will get an unlimited x 4x4, 6-speed, hard top, with the trailer tow package. has to be sunburst or flame red. edmunds.com says the invoice price is $23,636. right now there is a 1500 rebate. i know some dealers discount more than others, and some are selling below invoice. where are these dealers, and what kind of discount am i looking at. just trying to get the best price possible. thanks for the input!!

matt

heres a pic of my last jeep, which i sold about 3 years ago. '98 TJ with a Teraflex 3" and 33x12.50-15s, arb front locker, etc.

be happy to pay invoice - nothing over it.

if you can get $250-$500 below invoice, go for it....

I got mine below invoice but my GF's dad is a manager at one of the Dodge dealers, and got the hook up! If you can get at or below like directedby said I would say do it as well!

When I ordered mine I got 1% below invoice from a dealer that couldn't keep them on the lot at the time.

If you order one, you'll pay the least.

Some amount UNDER invoice is where it's at.... just remember the best deal is the one where you are happy about buying your jeep!!!

My problem is the ones that have a good deal want to offer me crap on a trade in. I actually had a sales manager hang up on me Friday after I mentioned I thought he had more room to move on a 07 with 1500 miles. His response was "did you notice that it has a upgraded bumper and winch". My response was, "well you did not offer me any more for the 2500 dollars in upgrades I have in my truck". I told him I understand he is trying to make money, but I am trying to keep money in my pocket. He then hung up the phone. I have my truck on autotrader, but have gotten more spam than calls.

Here is the exact Jeep that I want. They had it on Ebay for 28,300 last week.
