Problem with 4x4 shifter
Inside the jeep under the console there is a cable that connect to the shifter (4x4 shifter not manual) and theres a plastic cap that keeps the cable from falling off the shifter, does anyone know what that plastic piece is called i can't find anything about it i want to buy a replacement.

I just had that damn little piece let go on me while out on the beach. Here is the part #68064273AA. Its only 30 cents so you may want to grab a few extras. I had to order them so i only have 2x4 until the piece comes in. advance adapters makes an upgraded cable kit that from the looks of it is near impossible to break. I am thinking about ordering the kit, but I wanted to hear from someone that has already used one. Good luck to you. Mine went at 10k miles, so its just a matter of time until it goes again i'm sure.

I had a machine shop make me a entire arm out of billet steel and it has a larger knob coming off it and it attaches with a prelubed bushing and d clip. Works like a charm and got rid of the cheap plastic crap.
