Default problems coasting at 50+ mph?

anyone else try coasting at 50-60 MPH on the highway and notice you decelerate rather quickly, as if the tranny is saying "i dont think so" ???

yeah this vehicke does not like you to take your foot off the gas. I am not sure if its the trans or just the fact that its a aerodynamic brick. I noticed that it does this at slower speeds as well.

dunno im leaning to the tranny on this one. when coasting at 30-40 theres no "real" deceleration but 50+ it will drop 10mph in a matter of 5 secs, and can almost feel like its the tranny doing it

Auto tranny, weak engine and improper gearing. I have the stock 3.73's with stock 32 inch tires. You have to use a lot of "foot" to maintain highway speeds. I've gotten to the point when on the highway for short periods of time I've been hitting the OD cancel button.

Turning OD off have become part of my pre drive routine, right after I turn the headlights on OD is off.
