Default Are Procomp Mt's good tires?

I saw on another site where people were talking about them getting punctured easily...is this true?

Is there another comparable tire in the price range?

I'm curious, especially since I've found them for $150 on a 285/75/16

I've had them for awhile and I can say they DON'T puncture easily. I've been over a lot of sharp shale rock and haven't had any problems. I just rotated them yesterday and did an inspection and they do have a few gashes and a few chunks out of the lugs but nothing has been able to flatten them. I plan to buy them again once this set wears out.

No problems with mine. I'm going on 7k miles on 35's now with the Xtreme MT's. Same issue with a few chunks out of the lugs, but that's terrain. I rarely air down, so I know that I've probably been tougher on the sidewalls than people that have aired down. No punctures and no noticable psi change when I check. Several people in my group have them with no complaints I've heard.

Edit...also check the number of ply's and the load rating. That might be a lower ply tire for less $$. The lower ply's will not be as strong.
