Default Proper hard top storage?

Does anyone know if it matters if the hard top is stored in any particular position. I took mine off about two weeks ago and is setting upright on my garage floor. A freind of mine recomended flipping it over on its roof so it wouldn't warp? Any suggestions? Eventualy I think i will get a hoist but don't have the funds right now.

I can't imagine it would warp, but if you do flip it over, make sure you have a blanket or something underneath, as even looking at the hard top funny can produce scratches in the black paint.

Mine is stored upright, so I hope that's fine. I can't imagine it being an issue though. They even make a storage cart on wheels like that so I'm guessing it's good.

Mine is stored upright on the floor of the garage with sawhorses under the front b/c I have the roof rack on it making it offbalance. The Bestop HOSS storage cart and the MOPAR store them on the back glass with the front pointing skyward. Dunno if it makes a difference.

I've had 4 Wranglers, my dad had 1 and my stepfather had one. My close friends Joe, Ryan, Matt, Olman, and another guy Matt all have wranglers. In high school a few guys I knew had wranglers. Where I work I am in and around many peoples homes and I have seen MANY hardtops being stored.

I have NEVER EVER seen a hardtop stored upside down. It the top is upside down I would assume it fell off something and landed that way.

As opposed to that lay it upright just as it would fit on the jeep. Even more make sure you have holes for the pegs or set it up on 2X4's this also makes it easier to close the glass.
Edit: BTW mine after a while of sitting has o be flexed a bit to fit properly on the back and then once installed and warmed up on the jeep it is back into place. A little warping will occur in long term storage (non permanet just relaxing a bit) to where it does not fit exactly like it would taking it off for a day or two.
