Default prototype shifter from RC (update)

I was talking with a friend who had the prototype shifter from Rough Country (about the issue of the 1.25 body lift for the manual JK)

The prototype shifter looks like to solve the problem, but there is an important detail: The inner boot gets very hard in the winter at minus 20 deg. celsius.
So, the shifter still pop up to neutral.

I want to know if members up North have experimented this prototype shifter last winter (on 2nd, 4th and 6th).

I chatted with a RC's representative, he told me that this prototype shifter will be available later this year.
