Default Psi on a 35x1250x17 bfg km2

I have a 2012 jkur with a teraflex 2.5 coil and 35.1250.17 bfg km2. It is my daily driver. Psi recommendations? The faq says 28.

What is the chalk test? What Psi should I start at?

I would start at 30 psi. Drive it and do a chalk test and go from there

I had the exact tire on my 12 JKUR and ran them between 30 and 32. At 9k miles, they ahd only worn 2/32" and were evenClick image for larger version

I run 30psi in the city and 33 if I'm hitting the highway for a road trip. Very little wear on my tires.

If the chalk test is good at 28 will I be good. Or should I go up a little since I'm on the highway 50 miles round trip daily.

28 to 35.....you need to see what is best for you..............start at 28 on day 1. Day 2 go to 30. Day 3 go to 32 and so on. Only that way you will see if 28 is too low
and 35+ is too much.
