Default PSP or JCR

PSP or JCR?

I'm looking at getting a front bumper.
I've narrowed it down to two.
Poison spyder brawler MID
Or
JCR crusader MID

Since I'm on the fence.
I'm looking for reasons
To go one way,
Or the other

I'm also looking at throwing some ace sliders as well
So last question is who to go to for best price?

I was unfamiliar with JCR, so I looked it up. The two are very similar. I did notice that the JCR covers part of the tire where the Poison Spyder does not. I love my PSC front bumper. I have nailed a bolder trying to climb it and no damage, other than having to touch up the paint. For me, poison spyder is local. The other PSC products are great, and if you are like me and don't like mixing brands it helps that you can wrap your JK with one manufacturer.

Look at Crawler Conceptz as well. New company with the former lead designer from Poison Spyder. Really nice stuff reasonably priced and I think free shipping all month for their launch.

I narrowed my choices to the same two. I went with JCR, purely for pricing. My only regret, getting and installing the rear dagger as it requires cutting the frame cross member. If I ever need a new bumper, I will be faced with welding a good bot to get something else to work. Aside from that, front and rear bumpers, with powder coat for around $1k, not bad at all!

Doesn't the PSC mid width cover part of the tire also. I believe the lite doesn't.

I was thinking of mine. I have the lite, which is technically a mid compared to the other front they make that requires cutting of the frame.

I do need to mention that I want a straight R&D swap.
I don't want to drill or cut away anything

don't do the dagger. But their other rear bumpers don't require cutting. I know some will say PSC is better quality. I'm not certain of that. I've had both in front of me prior to powder coat. Steel, good welds, quality work. For me, it was price. I just couldn't convince myself to spend 40-50% more just to tell someone I have PSC vs. JCR.

That's the other thing.
Not only is the jcr NOT less exspensive.
It is actually more.
Psp $619
Jcr $649
Makes it hard (financially) to give the underdog a shot.

depends on the model of bumper. I saved but also caught them on a good sale.
