This is my favorite 4X4 supplier (awesome choice!) , but unfortunately, he's not canadian friendly about the shipping methods. I asked several times to ship USPS, and it's not possible. They use UPS, and the custom fees of UPS are too expensive. (Can be over 100$)

Other american suppliers use USPS for Canada with no problem

I prefer to give my hard earned money to smaller, owner-operator shops...

Copy that! I paid UPS $50 duty & 'fees' for a $60 mirror I ordered from Q-tech. It also sucks that we have to pay for their catalogue :(

The last couple of times I needed something I used National 4WD
www.national4wd.com
Stuff was reasonable and came in 2 days!!! ....and no fees!!!

Exactly. The minimum custom fees of UPS (now) are 55$
The custom fees of Canada Post are ALWAYS 5$

I'm happy that Northridge has now a division in Canada

By the way, I'm not sure that National 4WD is a sponsor here. If I'm right, you should remove the link

I'm a big fan of Quadratec. I've ordered several things and never had a problem.

I ordered from them here in Alaska........they sent USPS Priority Mail like I asked, but they charged me more than twice the amount that it should have been for shipping.

Hey, don't get me wrong. No problemo at all with Quadratec's products, prices or service. It's UPS I have the issue with.

I can't believe you peeps are still order from them! Their shipping and (outrageous) handling rates are equal to doing your grocery shopping at a rest area gas station --
