Default Quadratech shipping charges suck

Wife got me seat covers, first aid kit and a hitch cover for Christmas. She paid $90 for shipping (Canada), and then had to pay another $40 cod. All for a $200 order. Why so expensive?
I know, 65 replies of "I get free shipping". But really Quadratech.....get the shipping costs down.

They do offer discounts on shipping if you ask for most forums out there.
They charge as much as they can to maximize profit, it is that simple. Quadratec has a nice website with lots of extra information listed as well as a very nice full color catalog they send out 4 times a year to help the consumer with their buying decisions. They offer both these services for free even though it costs them quite a bit of money to do.

Shipping is not cheap or easy especially on oversized and heavy items like bumpers or winches. I am sure they get a special rate from UPS or FedEx to keep the cost lower then they normally would just like other companies that offer "free" shipping do. In the end you really are not getting anything for free, a company is just offering to discount their products so it seems like you are getting something for nothing. In the end it is the consumers responsibility to do the research and buy what they want at the best price.

They give free shipping to all members on this forum also all orders over 75.00. They also have a promo code saharaxray to get free shipping on items less than 75.00

Next time buy from northridge4x4.ca Stan is a great guy and can get anything the American counterparts can. Plus free shipping over $100

Also found that national4wd is now 4wheelparts, some great deals on their site too.

Basically anything shipped from the states will be pricey especially if it's sent by ups or fedex. Brokerage fees are sometimes more then the product so check it next time before you buy.

We get screwed over up here in Canada with shipping!! They may say free shipping until you mention Canada or out of the lower 48.

Sorry man we all learn the hard way

Instead of going through the website, give them a call and ask about being eligible for free shipping. Tell them your apart of the JK-forum. I get free shipping every time I order from them

Northridge 4x4 <---- times 10
You should also check Amazon. Not sure how it works in the Great Wide North, but down here, if you are a prime member, you can get 2 day shipping free on any eligible item, and there are lots of eligible items. I would bet everything you mentioned could have been found there for less. I like QT, but some of their prices are way high.

Quadratec took care of me with my shipping in my time of need. Jeep got in a wreck and was needing a bumper shipped to the body shop by a certain date so they could install it.

I have had no issues with them and will continue to use them for my items.
