I'm making some upgrades to my wheels & tires, but I'm not sure what to do with the leftovers or when to do it. I'm replacing my 17" Incubus chrome wheels & 33" Mickey ATZ tires with 17" Ballistic Jesters & 33" Mickey MTZ's. There's nothing wrong with the wheels, I just don't like chrome but they were on there when I bought the Jeep, plus the spare is still the stock 17". The tires have about 8/32" tread left after just under 40K miles, specs say brand new tread is 17/32". Wondering if I am better off to keep the remaining tread left and sell the wheels & tires together now *OR* run the tires until they're used up & just sell the wheels? Not sure which would be the easiest (and/or most profitable sale). Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this? Thanks.

 

I go through tires like a fat kid with twinkies. I always list them together on here and on cl. I would split if someone bought the tires first. The wheels will likely sell on their own unless they are fugly, which I'm dure they are not. This approach has served me well in the past
