Default Question for you carpet-less JKs

Removed the carpet and bed lined my interior of the 2dr JK today. Found these two large holes covered with cheap tape from the factory. Curious as to what you guys have done to cover these holes and what they may be there for?

One on each side near the front seats.

Just curious of what did you use to line it with? Did you have to take?

I had mine professionally done. I had them spray into the holes so at least they were black. They can be good for storing things.

Filled mine with foam and cut a ovalish piece of 16g sheet metal and epoxied them over the holes. After doing the bedliner you can't even see them.

I used hurculiner and rolled it on after sanding everything down. Still not finished as I want a thick coating.

I'm thinking I may measure it and figure out a way to install a set of led lights. Maybe make a dim interior running light or something then.

There was a thread on here a while back that talked about this. I believe someone posted that you can by some rubber plugs that will fit these holes.
