If you get the trailer tow group and the 23s package do you lose the front tow hooks and fog lamps?

The Jeep I am looking at on line has the tow package and 23s but does not show front tow hooks and fog lamps that should be included in 23s.

 

when i was first looking at JKs, the first dealer I went too had to X S packages without tow hooks and fogs. The brochure said that early 2008 S packages did not include the fogs or tow hooks. It had nothing to do with the tow package.

 

Thanks. The dealer is supposedly checking the vehicle for me, it is at another dealer. I find it odd that it wouldn't have these options that other Jeeps have but they charge you the same. I guess I shouldn't be surprised!

i have the 23s package with the tow hooks and fog lights.

In my case, trailer tow with 23s = no fog lamps and tow hooks. However, they're added back in on my jeep, but the dealer sticker has them broken out separately. According to the sticker, I paid $120 to add back the fog lights and $50 to add back the tow hooks.

 

I just looked in the brochure I got when looking at the dealer. At the bottom of page 24 it says "Fog lamps and tow hooks shown are late availability on X model."

 

You would think a Jeep that is currently on the lot would be considered "late availability"

If not, I wonder if it was a demo vehicle or a buy back with low enough miles they can still sell it as new.

Guess I will know in the morning when the are supposed to call me and tell me what the milage is and if the hooks and lamps are on board.

I saw a Jk at another dealer with the 23s and it had them but they were not on the sticker

 

Anything ordered after feb 6th 2008 the "S" package included the tow hooks and fog lamps, If you order the tow package you do not get a rear tow hook. So when you see a X on the lot that does not have them or the fog lamps listed for $120 and the tow hooks for $75 unless it has a tow group the the front tow hooks are $50 you know it was built prior to feb 6th 2008.
