Default Rained On

I got caught in the rain for the first time today Doors and top off I was going 65 on the freeway most of the water was coming from the sides. I sped through big puddles and most of the water got caught by my floor mats. What should I do to the carpet so it doesnt start to stink? Should I spray them with something or what? Thanks

Mine was "dry" when I pulled it out. It was SO nasty. The floor was damp and stankin. I tossed it right in the trash. I got some floor liners, but I hope to linex it someday.

Now I just keep the floor plugs out so the water has somewhere to go.

Yeah but I live in AZ where it gets to be 120 degrees during the summer won't that cause it to be too hot in the cabin by taking out the carpet and putting in bedliner does bedliner block heat?
