Default Rear Axle Problems

I fear I have a bent Rear axle shaft so I am in need of rear axle parts.

The issue: I have intermittent squeaking coming from the drivers side rear. The squeaking usually occurs when the brakes are applied.

The cause: Last winter I slid down a steep icy grade and slid into a curb on the drivers side.

Steps taken: I have already replaced all the brake components with the exception of the caliper and mounting hardware to eliminate a warped rotor.

Bottom line is that I am in England so parts are difficult to get and local repairs are 3X more than in the states. Any thoughts on how to check and fix the issue? Any vendors willing to send axle parts to England?

You have a bent axle flange.

is this something that is fairly simple to repair? I am pretty mechanically inclined but I have never done any axle work besides changing fluid and diff covers.

That seems too easy.

I figured the best way to get a solid response was to give all the details up front.

Could be a bad axle bearing too.

I guess I should try to get replacements with bearings pressed on.

Get the foote axels from northridge with everything pressed on. The install is not hard and I think someone did a writeup a while back.
