hmmmm just got a letter from chrysler on a safty recall on my innner fender liners.. hmmm anyone else get one or am I just bringing up old news...Now if they would just recall the over heating tranny problem id be go to go..

 

you can call any dealer ship give them your vin # , they will give you info on any recalls

 

got mine yesterday and went to the dealer asked to see what they would do so i could do it myself .all they are going to do if the brake lines are ok is trim the liner about a inch..

 

I thought '08s were included in the recall but I haven't received a letter yet. I haven't noticed any rubbing with the break lines. I'm due for state inspection next month and will ask the service deparment if my Jeep is included. From what I've read, I don't want the service department cutting on my Jeep which is what I understand they are doing to 'fix' this issue.

 

Go to Jeep. Com "for owners", fill out the required fields, you can review any and all recalls. In addition, dealership service Mgrs update Chrysler server to reflect which have been taken care of. Hope this helps.

Good one, just found out my JK has 2 recalls. Tow bar and the inner fender liners.

I'm pretty sure the tow bar recall is just for the aftermarket mopar tow bar that installs in the front of your JK when being towed by a RV, etc.

 

Got my letter today for my '07 JK and the fender liners and brake line inspection. I wonder if they will do the chip upgrade if I ask them to. I hear there is an upgrade that improves performance. Any one know of this?
