I was curious, is the Red Rock color the same for '08 as it was for '07? It seems to me that the '07 is more maroon, and the '08 is more purple. Anyone know if it is the same? Thanks!

 

I think it is the same color for both years, but like you said you have seen a difference, I have seen a huge difference between the red rock colors depending on how much light there is, overcast vs sun. That is why I like the red rock color, because it changes so much even on my own Jeep.

If you look at the pics in my gallery you will see what I mean. Sunny day it loos almost burnt maroon, overcast or less light it looks purple. Red rock is a great color.

I love mine. It looks differerent all the time. It depends on the light.

 

I agree with the color changes everyone else have stated. I really notice it in my photographs depending on sunlight, overcast, shadows. The metallic Red Rock is fantastic and is a great color to contrast with the black top, bumpers, etc. It looks so "rich". Sometimes it even looks like a reddish shade of brown. We are extremely happy with the color and if we had to do it over again we would order the same color. Good luck!

 

Thanks for all of the replies...I ordered it this morning...Red Rock Rubicon and all the goodies... Now I just have to wait for it to be delivered. At least I still have my TJ to play with until the new one comes!
